Design Process

After you complete our online form or contact our office, a member of our Customer Concierge team will reach out to you by email and phone within 24–48 hours. During this initial conversation, we’ll discuss your goals, preferences, and how Proguard Backyards can best assist with your project.

If your project’s budget and scope align with our services, we’ll schedule a two-hour interactive design consultation with one of our Designers. This meeting can take place at your home, or virtually whichever is most convenient for you

Signing the Contract

Once you fall in love with your design, it’s time to make it official! Signing your contract and providing a 15% down payment locks in your price and kicks off the pre-construction process.

We also offer flexible financing options to make your backyard dreams affordable from new lines of credit to second mortgages and more. Our pool loan specialists are here to help you find the best fit for your needs

Pre Construction

Once your design is approved, our in-house design team turns it into a detailed construction plan. From there, our Permit team handles all the engineering and permits needed for your project.

If any demo or grading is required, we’ll schedule that next. Then we’ll mark out your pool with spray paint so you can see exactly how it will look in your yard. Before construction begins, we’ll do a quality check, blue stake, and a quick walkthrough to make sure everything’s ready to go.

Construction Phase

Once everything is approved and ready, it’s time to bring your fiberglass pool to life! The construction phase begins with excavation—our crew carefully digs and prepares your yard based on the design layout. Next, a compacted base of gravel is set to ensure your pool sits level and stable.

The fiberglass shell is then delivered and carefully lowered into place using a crane. We’ll take precise measurements to confirm perfect alignment before adding water and backfill at the same time to balance pressure and prevent any shifting.

After the shell is secure, we connect plumbing and electrical components, install equipment, and build out any additional features like decking, coping, or water features. Once everything is complete, we’ll clean up the site, balance your pool water, and walk you through how to operate your new pool system.

From start to finish, our team handles all the details to ensure a smooth, efficient build—so all that’s left for you to do is dive in and enjoy your new backyard oasis.

Enjoying your pool

Once construction is complete, your backyard transformation truly comes to life. Our team will handle the final inspection, ensure every detail meets our high standards, and thoroughly clean the site. We’ll then walk you through your new fiberglass pool showing you how to operate the equipment, maintain water balance, and keep everything running smoothly.
